Jury Duty Leave Rules in Washington

Washington employers must provide employees with leave for jury duty in accordance with these state rules.

Washington law provides that it is unlawful to deprive an employee of employment or a promotional opportunity because of jury duty or for this reason harass, threaten, or coerce an employee.

The employer must provide the employee with sufficient leave of absence to serve as a juror when summoned.

No jury duty pay is specified.
