Missouri Wage and Hour Recordkeeping Requirements
Employers in Missouri must conform with these state rules relating to wage and hour recordkeeping requirements.
Employers in Missouri must keep and maintain records for a minimum of three years containing the following employee information:
- the name, address and occupation of each employee;
- the rate of pay and amount paid each pay period for each employee;
- the hours worked each day and each week by each employee; and
- any goods and services provided by the employer in lieu of pay.
The records are to be kept open for inspection by the Labor Department and are confidential.
