Massachusetts Wage and Hour Recordkeeping Requirements
Employers in Massachusetts must conform with these state rules relating to wage and hour recordkeeping requirements.
In Massachusetts, employers must keep on file and open for inspection for at least two years a record of:
- the name, address and occupation of each employee;
- the amount paid each period to the employee;
- the hours worked daily and weekly by the employee; and
- any other information deemed necessary by the Commissioner of Labor or the Attorney General.
