Employers in Hawaii must conform with these state rules relating to wage and hour recordkeeping requirements.

Employers in Hawaii must keep for six years employee records showing for each employee:

• full name, address and occupation;
• the amount paid to the employee each pay period; and
• the hours worked each day and each workweek by the employee.
